    Jackie Hizzey

    Main Street Property Group LLC

    Jackie has been with MainStreet Property Group LLC since the beginning – Employee #1. As Co-President and Chief Financial Officer, Jackie is responsible for leading the organization’s financial strategy, including project capitalization, treasury management, tax planning, business operations, risk management, accounting and reporting, investor relations and asset management. MainStreet focuses on development and construction for mixed-use, multi-family and commercial projects ranging from 100 units to more than 600 units, plus commercial office, restaurant and retail spaces. Over the past 12 years, Jackie has secured the equity and debt financing for nearly 3,000 units totaling over $1 billion of project costs. Jackie is a native to the Pacific Northwest, growing up in Portland and living on the Eastside for the past 25 years. She has her accounting degree from Gonzaga University and was a licensed CPA for much of her career. Jackie serves as the Treasurer of the Cascadia College Foundation Board. Jackie lives in Woodinville with her husband and daughter and, when not working, can be found running, riding bikes, or walking on the Tolt Pipeline Trail. Recently, Jackie has resigned to the fact that she is a “Swim Mom.”

    Akash Shivashankara

    Washington State Investment Board

    Akash Shivashankara is a Global Portfolio Manager within CBRE Investment Management’s Indirect Private Real Estate team. Based in Seattle, Akash is responsible for performance, strategy, and investment decision making of global separate account portfolios. In addition, he is a senior member of the Global Alpha Fund portfolio management team with a primary focus on assessing global investment opportunities for the Fund. Akash joined CBRE Investment Management in October 2018. Prior to this, Akash was a member of the Washington State Investment Board’s real estate investment team, where during his tenure he was responsible for investment activity in the US, UK, Continental Europe, Morocco, Mexico, Chile, India, and Japan. Earlier in his career, Akash was a Vice President with Asia Investment Partners in Tokyo, where his role was to source, underwrite, execute, and asset manage senior housing transactions. Akash started his career at ORIX, where he was responsible for underwriting infrastructure private equity investments across Asia. He is fluent in Japanese. Akash earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School. He graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance and a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Akash is a CFA charterholder and CAIA charterholder. Akash is a Certified Person under the FCA’s Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR).

    Mike Pace

    Managing Director, MetLife Investment Management

    Over 25 years of real estate experience with MetLife in the San Francisco Regional Office covering the major metropolitan areas in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. Mike’s prior experience includes leading the local team in loan management and debt origination for San Francisco’s debt portfolio totaling $10 billion. Mike is now actively serving as the office’s regional director, overseeing both debt and equity placements. Prior to MetLife, Mike worked for Sumitomo Bank of California. Industry participation includes ULI, Bay Area Mortgage Association, and Mortgage Bankers Association. Mike participated in the Real Estate Development program and has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

    Jason Flynn

    Managing Director, Eastdil Secured

    Jason Flynn is a Managing Director and 19 year veteran of Eastdil Secured.  As the leader of Eastdil Secured’s Pacific Northwest presence, Jason oversees the firm’s regional efforts focused on sales, financings, and recapitalizations of large commercial assets.  Since 2015, Eastdil Secured has completed over $41 billion in transaction volume in the Puget Sound and Portland markets.  Jason is a CFA Charterholder, a member of ULI, and a 1999 graduate of Georgetown University.

    Jeremy Lewis

    Director, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP

    Jeremy is a Director in PwC’s Financial Markets & Real Estate practice with a primary focus on strategic acquisitions and complex real property valuations for all property types, fixed income valuations, financial and commercial due diligence, and strategic consulting. Jeremy helps our clients through a variety of real estate valuation assignments for domestic and international properties. Jeremy assists a wide variety of clients including regional and national investment entities, REITs, financial institutions, Fortune 1000 companies, asset managers, and private equity firms. Assignments include appraisals, appraisal reviews, purchase price allocations, financial reporting, leasehold valuations, due diligence, impairment, FIRPTA, and assisting PwC’s audit teams with assessing fair value measurements. In addition to traditional real estate property types, his experience with niche assets include data centers, specialized manufacturing, power plants, student housing, senior housing, hospitals, life science, and medical offices. Jeremy received a B.S. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Accounting from the University of Southern California. He is a contributing member to Emerging Trends in Real Estate publications, a member of the AICPA and the California Society of CPAs, a CPA in the State of California, a Practicing Affiliate of the Appraisal Institute, and a state certified general licensed appraiser in multiple states.
