Climate Justice Action Agenda for Health Equity & Real Estate
ULI Northwest was selected to participate in a grant program focused on understanding racist land use policies and advancing health equity.
ULI joins our LGBTQIA+ community members, staff, and allies in observing and celebrating Pride throughout the month of June. Pride is a month rooted in liberation, and this year we commemorate the 53rd anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall uprising, which served as the catalyst for the international gay pride movement and LGBTQIA+ activism.
Although extraordinary progress has been made since the Stonewall protests, ULI recognizes the discriminatory state legislation and countless attacks against the LGBTQIA+ community that undermine their dignity, safety, and fundamental rights. As an organization committed to pursuing unrelenting efforts to shape the built environment toward diverse, equitable, and inclusive communities, we serve as a key voice in promoting meaningful change and advancing representation across the commercial real estate industry.
As we reflect on the historic contributions and raise the achievements of the LGBTQIA+ community, we encourage you to learn more about the history of Pride through resources on the Library of Congress LGBTQIA+ Studies website and ULI Northwest’s Pride Resource Guide.
We continue to believe that current and future industry actions can—and must—remedy the impact of exclusionary practices that have affected the LGBTQIA+ community in the real estate industry and thereby create access and foster unity.
This month, we encourage you to join us as we celebrate our LGBTQIA+ members and contributors to the real estate community. For additional information about diversity, equity, and inclusion at ULI, contact [email protected].
