    Applications for the 2024 Partnership Forum Groups are now open! A registration link for the Kickoff Event and PFG program will be sent individually to those who are accepted.

    This year's PFG mentors are Chris Beza, NBBJ; Christian Gunter, Alexandria Real Estate Equities; Jackie Hizzey, MainStreet Property Group; and Joel Ing, Edge Developers.

    Partnership Forum Groups are only open to ULI members under 35. You must have an active ULI membership in order to complete the online registration. Not a member? Click here to join ULI.

    Individuals who are part of a company that is a ULI Northwest annual sponsor can receive a discount on registration.

    If you are a new ULI member since January 1, 2024, you are eligible to receive free registration.

    Joel Ing

    Edge Developers LLC

    Joel Ing has been a specialist in community development for over thirty years, managing a wide range of projects throughout the Northwest. He has expertise in both private and public financing structures including regulations associated with affordable housing funding, and Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credits. He is a primary contact in negotiations with property owners, funders, lenders, and investors, and is responsible for the financial feasibility analysis of development opportunities. This includes managing new project opportunities, negotiating property acquisition terms, structuring development budgets, formulating partnership documents, and overseeing the due diligence leading to financial closings. Joel has a long history of assisting non-profit and government organizations in fulfilling their missions through publicly financed projects. He previously worked as a public finance banker and municipal credit analyst. Joel takes pride in remaining active in the community he was raised in, and has served on numerous boards and volunteered for various causes. He serves on the Seattle Housing Levy Oversight Committee, and is a Governor appointee to the Washington State Public Stadium Authority. He formerly served on the King County Housing Development Consortium Board, and Washington State Affordable Housing Advisory Board.

    Jackie Hizzey

    Jackie has been with MainStreet since the beginning – Employee #1. As Co-President and Chief Financial Officer, Jackie is responsible for leading our organization’s financial strategy, including project capitalization, treasury management, tax planning, business operations, risk management, accounting and reporting, and investor relations. Through her tenure with the organization, Jackie and her team have been instrumental in implementing the systems and processes that have helped make our organization truly “Best in Class.” After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Gonzaga University, Jackie started her career in public accounting as an assurance services auditor at Moss Adams in Seattle. Jackie then moved on to serve as Controller for the West Coast homebuilder, Geonerco Management LLC, where she was in charge of all financial reporting, internal audit, and accounting functions for several decentralized homebuilding offices. Jackie is the Treasurer of the Cascadia College Foundation Board as well as a member of the Gonzaga Accounting Advisory Board. Jackie lives in Woodinville with her husband and daughter and, when not working, can be found running, riding bikes, or walking on the Tolt Pipeline Trail. Recently, Jackie has resigned to the fact that she is a “Swim Mom” of her daughter.
