    Ryan Buchanan

    Thesis

    Ryan Buchanan is an entrepreneur. He is founder + Chairman of Thesis, a digital marketing agency, which he founded to inspire and be inspired by partnering with great clients like Nike, Adobe, HP, Spotify and Taco Bell. He is also co-founder of The Script which is a non-profit dedicated to improving racial and cultural diversity at the leadership level in Oregon companies by providing internship, mentoring, and leadership development opportunities for professionals of color. Additionally, Buchanan started a community building effort called We Believe in Portland which twice annually brings together 600+ professionals across 130 companies to clean up Portland + support local restaurants. Through Buchanan's leadership, Thesis was recognized as one of the Most Admired Companies in Oregon by a Portland Business Journal survey of 2,000 CEOs in the state. Buchanan currently serves on the Board of OneApp, Avenue agency, Friends of the Children Emeritus Board. Buchanan was named as the Portland Business Journal’s ’40 Under 40,’ an award that recognizes city leaders under 40 years old. He was also named by Oregon Business magazine as one of “the 50 Great Leaders for Oregon - 50 who fix it, move it, build it, change it and get it done right.”

    Christian Kaylor

    State of Oregon, Department of Administrative Services

    Christian Kaylor is the Economic Analyst for Prosper Portland. He analyzes economic trends and metrics relating to the Portland economy to advise policy makers and community stakeholders. Before coming to Prosper Portland in 2022, Christian worked as a labor economist with the Oregon Employment Department for twenty years. Prior to that, Christian worked in various positions in Oregon politics and policy. A native Oregonian, Christian received his B.S. in Economics from the University of Oregon and M.S. in Economics from Portland State University.

    Stef Kondor

    Senior VP, Related NW

    As Senior Vice President of Development for Related Northwest, Ms. Kondor is responsible for establishing Related’s presence in the northwest while leading and managing all aspects of development and financing for affordable developments. Since opening the Related NW office five years ago, she has developed over 1,000 units of high-quality affordable housing in the Portland Metro area. Ms. Kondor recognizes that each RNW project holds the potential to not only address the region’s housing crisis, but to create robust and enriching service programs, catalyze neighborhood growth, and promote equitable access to high-opportunity communities. Executing projects of this caliber requires outstanding partners, and Stef prides herself on integrating first-rate development teams and forging dynamic public-private partnerships. Prior to joining Related, Ms. Kondor was Director of Real Estate Development for Central City Concern where she managed the land acquisition, entitlements, and due diligence process for the development of new clinical and affordable housing in Portland, Oregon. While at CCC, she was a recipient of the Housing Oregon’s Star Player Award in 2017 and led her development team named as top affordable housing developer by the Daily Journal of Commerce for 2018. She developed award winning projects receiving the prestigious AIA/AAH design award for Healthcare Design as well as the Novogradac New Market Tax Credit QLICI of the Year for her development of the Blackburn Center. As Senior Asset Manager for Bayside Communities, managed a portfolio of more than 60 multifamily properties throughout the west coast including senior housing, assisted living, low-income housing, and HUD communities. Ms. Kondor is a resident of Washington County and works in Portland, Oregon. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the UC Berkeley and sits on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Portland. She is a member of PSU’s Real Estate Advisory Board and a Portland Housing Advisory Committee Commissioner and is an advisor on the Central City TIFF District Housing Production Committee.

    Ken Anderton

    Port of Portland

    Ken Anderton is the Senior Manager of Real Estate Development, Investment and Leasing for the Port of Portland. He has served a variety of real estate related roles in his 21 years with the Port. He has been active in the airport and industrial real estate field since 1997. He started his career in Salt Lake City where he was the Airport Property Manager during the 2002 Olympic Games. He holds a BS in Aviation Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and an MBA with emphasis in International Business from University of Phoenix. Ken’s current role with the Port is to lead a team to acquire, develop and redevelop marine and industrial properties. This is in support of the Port’s mission to increase economic prosperity in the region that all can benefit from. He is the program manager for the redevelopment of T2 into a mass timber housing innovation campus and has overseen the development of Troutdale Reynolds Industrial Park and Gresham Vista Business Parks in the East Multnomah County area. He is also the President of the Multnomah County Drainage District, and sits on the Gresham Chamber Board.
