“Andrea brings many talents and great energy that complement the exciting advancements ULI is making as an organization,” said Tom Parsons, Chair of ULI Northwest (Seattle). “We look forward to working with Andrea to continue to develop and grow our programs and to be recognized as the ‘go-to’ real estate and land use organization in the Pacific Northwest.”
“I am excited to work with Andrea and our Oregon District Council membership and staff to continue scaling ULI Northwest and deliver on ULI’s mission through new initiatives, content and programming,” shared Chris Nelson, Chair of ULI Northwest (Oregon/SW Washington). “Andrea’s background working in both the commercial real estate sector and non-profit organizations is unique and will help us execute on those objectives.”
Having lived and worked in Seattle, Newton connects deeply with ULI’s mission and is interested in thoughtfully examining land issues and developing solutions. ULI has been a “thought leader” in the region for many years and Newton is excited to continue and extend this commitment.
“It’s an honor to join the Urban Land Institute, an organization that embodies my passion for fostering sustainable land use in the built environment,” said Newton. “I’m thrilled to serve this district because I am convinced that through strong partnerships, ambitious goals, and a commitment to increasing value and impact, ULI will provide our region with pivotal perspectives on current regional challenges.
