Advisory Board

Oversees all of ULI Northwest’s committees and initiatives ensuring the district council retains prudent control of its own internal affairs while furthering the ULI mission.

Governance Committee

The Chair of Governance is the most recent past ULI Northwest Chair. This committee meets twice a year and acts as a governing group to guide major structural changes for the District Council.

Management Committee

The Management Committee is made up of Chairs and Co-Chairs of ULI Northwest committees to communicate with each other about the initiatives and issues each are taking on in their respective groups. Chairs identify opportunities for collaboration to minimize duplication.

Sponsorship Committee

Raises funds to support the Northwest District Council events, community outreach programs, and initiatives. The Committee meets September through January to identify and solicit annual sponsors.

Program Oversight

Provides strategic oversight of programs, events, task forces, and product councils. This committee plans the strategic direction of the annual Emerging Trends event.

Center for Leadership

Engages mid-career professionals in a 6-month leadership program. The 2019 Center for Leadership (CfL) program launches in January. The application process begins September 2018.

Local Product Councils

Represents an exclusive round-table group of individuals who meet quarterly to discuss a broad range of product types.

Member Engagement

Enhances the District Council’s ability to achieve its mission by building a diverse and actively involved public and private sector membership. Meets with new and prospective members to discuss ULI Northwest and how to engage with the district council based on member interests.

Technical Assistance Panels

The  Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) program provides pragmatic real estate advisory services to cities and institutions regarding specific land use questions. TAPs bring the finest expertise in the real estate, planning and development fields together to collaborate on complex land use and redevelopment projects.

Thriving Communities

Plans walking tours and panel discussions showcasing why certain neighborhoods thrive. The committee meets monthly and represents a diverse group representing private, public, and non-profit organizations.

Women’s Leadership Initiative

Raises the visibility and number of women leaders in ULI and the real estate industry.

Recruits members under 35 and encourages participation in ULI leadership. Hosts monthly happy hours and leadership forums.

Plans tours of real estate developments and innovative projects in the region for international visitors.
