ULI Northwest is pleased to introduce Up for Growth’s latest Housing Policy & Affordability Calculator for Portland, Oregon. Up for Growth is a national organization that works to forge policies and partnerships to achieve housing equity, eliminate systemic barriers, and create more homes. Its calculators are designed to provide communities with easy-to-use tools to help them understand how policy choices impact the cost and availability of housing. Portland will be the third city with a calculator; Up for Growth has previously developed calculators in Seattle, WA and Charlotte, NC. The Portland Housing Policy and Affordability Calculator was developed through a collaborative process with on-the-ground stakeholders representing the diversity of the city’s housing ecosystem.
