Lauralee Martin, Former CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle – Americas and HCP Real Estate Investment Trust
Lauralee served as Chief Executive Officer and President of HCP, a real estate investment trust focusing on properties serving the healthcare industry, and Fortune 500 REIT. Prior to HCP, Lauralee was with Jones Lang LaSalle, one of the world’s leading real estate services and money management firms, in executive positions, including CEO, Americas, COO and CFO, where she led the firm’s global financial strategy. She served as President Real Estate Finance and then CFO at Heller Financial Inc., helping take the company public in 1998 and facilitating the company’s sale at double the IPO share value to GE Capital, where she held management positions. Ms. Martin has served on the Board of Kaiser Aluminum Corporation since 2010, and previously served as a director of HCP, Inc. from 2008 to July 2016, of KeyCorp from 2003 through 2010, and of Gables Residential Trust, from 1994 through 2005. She served as a trustee of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Lauralee holds a B.A. from Oregon State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut, where she was later inducted into the UConn School of Business Hall of Fame. She currently sits on the Board of QuadReal Property Group, Kaiser Aluminum Corporation and ABM Industries, as well as the non-profit Yale Union Contemporary Art Space.
