Kimberly Farley is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Sound Transit, the agency responsible for building and operating the Puget Sound region’s transportation system.
Kimberly moved to Sound Transit earlier this year from the private sector. She has more than 20 years of experience in strategic project delivery. She has held key roles in delivering utility, technology, and transportation capital projects. Kimberly spent 15 years with the Washington State Department of Transportation where she held key roles in delivery of complex, expensive, visible and controversial highway projects.
Kimberly is an Engineering Geologist (Western Washington University), and holds a law degree from Seattle University.
