2013 Fall Meeting—Public Officials Scholarships

Eligible public officials can again receive a substantial discount on registration to the ULI Fall Meeting, this year being held November 5–8 in Chicago, thanks to a scholarship program offered by the ULI Rose Center for Public Leadership. The scholarships are provided through the generous support of Chicago Title Insurance Company. Scholarship recipients will be eligible for at least a 90 percent reduction in their registration rates at the Fall Meeting, lowering the fee to only $100 for ULI member public officials and $200 for nonmember public officials. ULI Northwest YLGs and NAIOP Members Team Up For Habitat For Humanity Project

This summer, young leaders from ULI and NAIOP embarked on a joint volunteer effort benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Seattle-King County. The group was assigned to La Fortuna townhouse build in the Renton Highlands and worked alongside future homeowners on projects ranging from second floor wall framing to wetland landscaping. La Fortuna is located in Renton’s Benson Heights neighborhood (17272 127th Ave SE) in an area zoned for multi-family residential. Mayors of Honolulu, Indianapolis, Memphis and Portland Named as Fellows by the ULI Daniel Rose Center for Public Leadership
